One week after its first edition in Madrid, the Health Revolution Congress (HRC) looks back on a day that brought together the people, ideas and organizations shaping the future of healthcare.
Hosted at AstraZeneca Spain's offices on 28 October, the congress welcomed around 300 professionals from across the healthcare and technology ecosystem. Organized by Barcelona Health Hub and Madrid Health Hub, the event created a space for meaningful conversations, knowledge exchange and new connections between different stakeholders working to transform healthcare.
Throughout the day, the programme explored some of the key developments and challenges shaping the sector, including the application of artificial intelligence in clinical practice, the evolution of healthcare systems and the role of collaboration in bringing innovation closer to patients.
Beyond the sessions on stage, the conversations taking place throughout the venue were just as important. Startups, healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, insurers and technology organizations had the opportunity to exchange experiences, discover new perspectives and explore potential collaborations.
The congress also featured real-world innovation stories and initiatives showcasing how collaboration between different organizations can help move promising solutions forward.
For Barcelona Health Hub and Madrid Health Hub, HRC is about much more than bringing people together for a day. It is about strengthening connections across the healthcare innovation ecosystem, creating opportunities for collaboration and helping ideas move towards real-world impact.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us, contributed to the programme and helped make this first Madrid edition possible, especially the teams at AstraZeneca Spain and both Health Hubs.
And this is just the beginning. The Health Revolution Congress continues in Barcelona on 25-26 May 2027. We look forward to bringing the community together again!
