Ms. Marta Villanueva Cendán, born in 1986 in Barcelona, is councillor for Health, People with Disabilities and Strategy Against Loneliness at Barcelona City Council. She is also councillor of the District of Sant Andreu.

With a degree in political science from the UB and several post-graduate degrees, she has held positions in the PSC, always in organizational or health profiles. Ms Villanueva also has a degree in nursing from the UB. Until her appointment as a councillor, she was working as a nurse at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona.

Graduated in Economics (1997) and in Business Administration and Management (1998) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), he also completed a specialized post-graduate course in human resource management and industrial relations at Pompeu Fabra University (2000-2001) and training courses in entrepreneurship and mentoring at ESADE, IESE and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
