The first edition of the awards ceremony took place at the modernist Sant Pau building in November 2024, bringing together institutional representatives, healthcare professionals, investors, insurers, and technology companies.
Other category winners included Dycare’s ReHub, recognized as the Most Successful Use Case with Hospitals by Fundación Mutual Médica. ReHub, one of the first clinically validated solutions by the Digital Health Validation Center at Hospital de Sant Pau, enabled ultra-personalized respiratory rehabilitation for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), using AI to monitor progress and provide detailed therapy reports.
The Best Health Equity Project award went to Awake, a robotic orthopedic solution by Barcelona-based startup Robopedics, which helped hemiplegic patients walk independently without medical supervision. The company is developing a more affordable home version to broaden access.
