HRC AWARDS TERMS & CONDITIONS

After two successful editions of the Health Revolution Congress, Barcelona Health Hub, in collaboration with the partners of HRC (Fundació Sant Pau, ACCIÓ, Barcelona Activa, Biocat, Insurtech Community Hub and Eurecat) has launched the inaugural edition of the Health Revolution Awards, to be celebrated on November 21st. These awards recognize companies in the health ecosystem that drive and promote innovation in digital health, ensuring that the most relevant advances and disruptive technologies truly reach and impact the industry and people’s lives.

A total of 20 finalists, four in each of the following categories, will be recognized for their contributions and success in transforming the digital health industry by bringing innovation in real products and services to the sector and citizens.

The categories are:

Most successful use case with hospitals

Recognition for the most successful use cases with hospitals.

Best health equity project

Recognition for projects that excel in promoting equity in healthcare.

Most innovative pharma use case

Recognition for the most innovative use cases by pharmaceutical companies in digital health.

Most innovative insurance use case

Recognition for the insurance company or service provider that has made significant strides towards the adoption of digital health technology to improve patient engagement.

Most influential person in digital health

Recognition for the person who has made significant contributions to the digital transformation in healthcare and to the propagation of advancements and innovations.

For each award, a jury of four specialized experts will be selected to choose the finalists and the winner. Additionally, a popular vote will be added, making a total of five votes to determine the winner. The popular voting will take place online through the official awards website.

The timings will be as follows:

  • For all categories, except Most Influential Person in Digital Health, nominations will be accepted from September 2nd to 27th through the submission form, which will be available on the event’s website.
  • Between September 27th and October 12th, all nominations will be reviewed.
  • The finalists in each category will be announced during the week of October 14th-18th.
  • From the week of October 21st until November 14th, popular votes will be open, and the jury’s votes will be received after the corresponding deliberation.

The finalists will be selected by considering the following criteria:

  • Development of an innovative idea based on digital technology
  • Its implementation and exponential growth
  • Recognized success in bringing that innovation to market
  • Making it available to insurers, users, clients, patients, and citizens

The winner in each category will be announced on November 21st at the Health Revolution Awards event. To receive the award, the CEO of the winning company must be present. If the corresponding CEO is not physically present to receive the award, it will immediately pass to the next finalist in order, who must also meet this attendance requirement to receive the award.
