Cristian Pascual is an industrial engineer and MBA from Esade and the Carlson School of Management. For 19 years he held various management positions in large companies before founding Mediktor, the most advanced and accurate symptom checker for triage and prediagnose, in 2014. In addition, for 12 years he has been a business angel and currently participates in more than 15 startups. Nowadays, Cristian is also president of Barcelona Health Hub, a non-profit private organization created to promote innovation in digital health and its transfer to the sector, linking startups, health organizations, companies and investors.


Joan-Ramon Rovira is Director of Economic Studies at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Rovira holds an MA and a PhD in Economics from Manchester University, teaches economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), is the author of many papers in his field, addressed to both the scientific community and the wider public, and contributes regularly to the economic debate in Catalonia.

Dr. Bringas is a board advisor to Clinica Internacional (One of Latin America’s top medical systems), an adjunct professor of Digital Health and has received multiple awards and nominations for his work in Digital Health and Health-tech implementation.


Dr. Geeta Nayyar is Salesforce’s Chief Medical Officer. She’s a rheumatologist and nationally-recognized leader in health IT, bridging the divide between clinical medicine, business, and digital health. As a Board Member of the American Telemedicine Association and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, she helps steer decision-making at some of the nation’s most influential medical organizations.
Her work and expertise have earned her appearances on CNN, PBS and she is regularly featured on CNBC and Yahoo Finance.


Dr. Sunbul is currently working as a Strategy and Risk Management Consultant at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Consultant and currently serves as the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics. She brings a diverse background in healthcare, management of information, performance management, analytics, project management, business planning, and over 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership. Tamara was recognized as a Fellow member of HIMSS (FHIMSS) and was selected as part of the HIMSS Future50 Class of 2021 as a clinical leader to improve the global e-health program. She currently serves as the 2022 chair of the HIMSS Middle East Community Steering Committee.


Dr. Austin Chiang, MD MPH is the first Chief Medical Officer for the gastrointestinal business of Medtronic, the global leader in health technology. He is also an interventional gastroenterologist and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at an academic medical center in Philadelphia, PA. He is one of the most influential voices in the field of gastroenterology across multiple social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube with over 600,000 followers and over 130 million views. He is a member of the YouTube Health advisory board and White House Healthcare Leaders in Social Media Roundtable.


Aline Noizet is a connector! Passionate about innovation and new technologies applied to health, she is very people-centric and has a natural talent for connecting people and building ecosystems around digital health. She really enjoys organizing and producing digital events and conferences. She was program manager of the Bayer G4A Accelerator (Grants4Apps) in Barcelona, USA and Berlin, was Business Development Director Europe for Health 2.0, a company presenting the latest innovations in healthcare and was also a partner of eHealth Hub, an EU project supporting digital health SMEs. Aline is co-founder of Digital Health Innovators Barcelona, a local community that brings together players in the digital health ecosystem and has been collaborating with institutions such as Frontiers Health, SXSW, Médica and Vision Health Pioneers.

An ex-New Yorker in Paris, Denise received the French Legion of Honor (2011) for her role in eHealth, was named an “InspiringFifty Women in Tech” (2018) and Digital EU ambassador for the European Commission (2022). Denise is passionate about the respect and role of the patient, digital health, and therapeutic VR. With an MBA from HBS, she hosts Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs podcasts and is a Harvard alumna community leader.


Jocelyne Copeland is part of the SickKids Process Improvement and Innovation team and the program manager for Innovation and Design at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Jocelyne has a background in Occupational Therapy with over 20 years of clinical experience. She now specializes in healthcare innovation and will be receiving her master’s in design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation this June. She is bringing human-centered design and innovation strategy to teams across SickKids and co-designing better healthcare experiences with patients and families.


Patricia Ripoll is Founder and President of VISIBLE Foundation. She studied Bachelor of Business Administration and Management and PDD from IESE Business School. She has worked as Commercial Director in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, and FMCG sectors, both nationally and internationally. Prize of the catalan society of neurology 2022 for the work of dissemination and social promotion of neurology, carried out on migraine patients and family members. She is the founder of MamaTieneMigraña, BeOriginal.es, and Co-founder of COVIDWarriors and AIREAMOS.org.


Arnau Valls is a BSc, MSc, Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He holds a postgraduate degree in AI and Big Data for Life Sciences UAB. He has a postgraduate degree in Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Health Barcelona (affiliated to the Stanford University Biodesign program). Since 2014, he works as project manager and R&D engineer at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu leading national and European projects in the field of digital technologies applied to health. He is co-founder and technical manager of the 3D Planning Unit. In 2020, he co-founded the Pediatric Innovation Hub i4KIDS as a member of the coordinating team.


Daniel Marin the President of Kids Barcelona Sant Joan de Déu. He is 20 years old and he is in the third course of Medical School at the Campus Clinic of the University of Barcelona. His experience as a patient and the desire to help others has moved me to study this career and to want to dedicate himself in the future to research and patients.


Dr. Shelly-Anne Li is a scientist, innovator, and educator specializing in implementation science in healthcare. During her doctoral studies at the University of Toronto, she investigated the contextual factors that influence the implementation of a digital pain management toolkit in pediatric hospitals. Dr. Li now oversees the portfolios of research, quality improvement, and community engagement at the Al & Malka Green Artists’ Health Centre, part of the University Health Network in Ontario, Canada, using an implementation science lens. In this capacity, she is dedicated to accelerating the use of evidence in healthcare settings. Additionally, she serves as a sessional faculty member at the School of Nursing at McMaster University and as an Associate Editor for Springer Nature’s Global Implementation and Research Applications journal.


Pete White is a Medical Writer. He has a background in biomedical sciences and healthcare design. Pete is a scientific writer who fuses creativity, storytelling and imagination alongside the needs of patients and healthcare professionals. After an award-winning spell at multiple multinational advertising agencies, he now works as a consultant — helping healthcare organizations better communicate in order to improve patient outcomes and experiences around the world.

Asier Zubillaga is the CEO of Farmadosis Group since 2012. He is responsible for implementing the product and technology strategy, as well as the company’s international expansion, reaching more than 30 countries. He is a technical architect from the University of Navarra and holds a higher engineering degree from UIB.




Gabriel Cerra is one of those tirelessly curious people. Self-taught in coding, his entrepreneurial adventure began ten years ago with a startup focused on new forms of digital learning, as CTO. Andreu Casadellà is founder and director of Improfit since 2021. In 2008 he created Movilogistica SA de CV in Mexico, and was its CEO until January 2011, where he remained as a shareholder. This was sold to TomTom Telematics (TomTom group), and in January 2015 he rejoined as General Manager Mexico of TomTom Telematics until 2018.

Davide Cirillo is the head of the Machine Learning for Biomedical Research Unit at the Life Sciences Department of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. He received the MSc degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from University of Roma La Sapienza, Italy, and the PhD degree in Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Center for Genomic Regulation of Barcelona, Spain. He is a member of the ELIXIR Machine Learning Focus Group, the BSC Bioinfo4Women initiative, and the no-profit Women’s Brain Project. He is co-editor of the book “Sex and Gender Bias in Technology and Artificial Intelligence: Biomedicine and Healthcare Applications’ ‘ (Academic Press, 2022).


Enara Herran is part of the Asociación Freno al Ictus since 2016. She formed and supported by those affected, family members, healthcare professionals and sympathizers, began its work with the aim of reducing the impact of stroke in Spain and promoting outreach activities to raise awareness of the disease, its extent and its consequences.
Through actions, projects, campaigns and activities, the Association has worked, firstly, to raise awareness of the disease among the public and to disseminate how to detect, act and prevent a stroke; and secondly, in the active promotion of health, as well as helping to improve the quality of life of those affected by acquired brain injury and their families.

Anna Torrent is the Medical Innovation and Transformation lead at Boehringer. She studied biotechnology at the UAB. She has several experience in the preparation and launch of several drugs in big pharma and a biotechnology pharma focused on manufacturing drugs that treat rare diseases and orphan diseases. She has been working in several roles within the medical department such as MSL, Medical Advisor and MSL head. Anna started in Boehringer Ingelheim as Head of MSL respiratory and 2 years ago. was appointed Head of Regional Medical Affairs responsible for 18 countries in eastern Europe, Switzerland, and Austria, living in Vienna. Now back in Spain as Transformation and Innovation lead since March 2023


Albert is Head of Business Excellence & Customer Engagement at Novartis Spain. He started his professional career in Arbora & Ausonia (Procter and Gamble JV), where he held roles in Marketing and Sales. He joined Novartis in 2015. Since then, he has worked in several roles at country and global level in marketing, sales, digital and strategy in Spain and Switzerland.
Albert holds a bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MS in Aerospace Engineering, and an MBA from Stanford University.


Jaime Gadea currently working in Sandoz as a Iberia Marketing Headis. After working in Healthcare Consultancy Firms for several years, he decided to move to the Pharma Industry, starting on a Commercial Excellence role in Sandoz focused on the Hospital Business Unit Areas. Looking for new challenges, he accepted to lead the Spain & Portugal Marketing Team and the strategy regarding the whole biosimilar and hospital generics portfolio. Jaime holds both a Pharmacy and a Law Degree.


Orlando is a digital health entrepreneur, and has been Business Franchise Head of Neuroscience Unit in Novartis Spain. In this position Orlando was responsible for the neuroscience business and member of the Pharma Executive Committee. Orlando has more than 20 years of experience in the pharma industry and started his career in Merck Sharp & Dohme Italy.In 2012 he joined Novartis Italy as Market Insight and Strategic Planning Head and in 2014 he was nominated Pharma & Country Executive Project Manager. Most recently he was appointed Head of Business Operations and Strategic Projects. In this position, he supported the Head of Europe in leading Novartis Pharma business, coordinating the European planning process and ensuring the implementation of the strategy in more than 50 countries. He is curious, innovative and passionate about health ecosystems.


Albert is a former physicist, with a multidisciplinary background and extensive experience in Innovation Management across different sectors: Sports, Life Science or Media / Entertainment. He has been leading Barça Innovation Hub for 6 years and has a deep knowledge on both performance and business areas of sports. He holds a Masters in Science and Technology Studies for University of Salamanca and an MA Media Management at Parsons The New School (New York).

Francesca Wuttke is the CEO and Founder of nen- bringing evidence-based DTx pain solutions to kids with cancer. Dr. Wuttke brings broad drug development and digital health expertise in both the US and Europe, with nearly 30 years of clinical, commercial, strategic and transactional experience. Formerly the Chief Digital Officer of Almirall. Previously she led European investments for the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund. Dr. Wuttke holds a Ph.D. Weill Cornell and a BA from Cornell University.


César is a great professional with 15 years experience in national and international public organizations. He has a degree in medicine from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a Doctorate in Medicine and Global Health from the University of Barcelona. He worked in the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, where he specialized in Preventive Medicine and Public Health, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, the Vall d’Hebron Hospital, the Catalan Health Evaluation, etc. Since 2014, he has been an expert member of the WHO’s SAGE advisory panel. In 2016, he was chosen by Forbes magazine as one of the most influential young people under thirty in Europe, leading the science and health category.


Dr. Nick is a physician leader and business strategist who draws on his clinical experience, technological prowess, and relationship management capabilities to craft and implement transformative, patient-centered strategies aimed at improving operational performance and efficiency.

Prior to joining Asabys, Guillem was the Portfolio Manager of the Life Sciences portfolio at Caixa Capital Risc for four years. Before that, he served at EY within the Transaction Advisory Services primarily focusing on PE and VC transactions.

Allegra Mulas is Venture Portfolio Manager at InvestHealth, EIT Health, managing the start-up deal flow to source those able to benefit from the InvestHealth Access to Finance programmes. Throughout her career, Allegra has built a strong understanding of the needs of start-ups and is passionate about creating an ecosystem that empowers innovation to access the market.
Allegra has a background in Psychology with Neuroscience, and a Master’s in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics, where her thesis focused on the role of biases in Venture Capital investment decision making processes.


Josep Santacana is a Senior Executive with over 20+ years of experience in Investment Banking and Venture Capital, I have a proven track record of contributing to the profitability and growth of organizations through strategic investments in technology businesses.


Yahel Halamish is Principal at Nina Capital. She joined the company in June 2020. At Nina Capital, besides being an active member of the investment team, she is also in charge of Investors Relations and D&I in the fund, promoting an active approach to increasing diversity. Prior to joining Nina Capital, Yahel gained experience investing in a wide range of Alternative Assets such as private companies, VC/PE funds, and Hedge funds. Yahel holds an MBA from IESE Business School, LLB and, BA in economics from the Hebrew University.

Former Head of Europe in Capital Markets, he combines over a decade leading investment banking businesses with a global fintech trajectory as investor, founder and C-level executive in various companies in the US and Europe.


Asmae Hadine currently works in Mediktor. She focuses on customer’s needs and consultancy capacity to guide them towards best practices to achieve optimum engagement when launching and maintaining a blended solution and/or a hub. Her empathy and excellent communication skills in 6 foreign languages have allowed to strengthen the relationship with the business in many industries especially in healthcare. Asmae has a wide experience in consultancy including the like of customer care, technological innovation, translation of data into insights, and digitization of processes. This makes her think about new ways to develop and improve internal & external business processes.


Thibault DEMOURES is a person that works for the Digital healthcare platform DHP that was born from a collaboration between Healthanea and Microsoft. One that was designed to combine their strengths and values with one objective: To enable a seamless and patient-centric healthcare experience. Thibault has worked 18 years in Asia in all aspects of Health: from a distributor to a product manufacturer through to a service provider.


Sílvia Vinyes holds a BSc and a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. She has dedicated to digital health innovation for the past 8 years. Currently, she leads the Open Innovation division at DKV Innolab, where is responsible for defining and managing the framework for open innovation operations in line with the company’s strategic health innovation roadmap.


Ricardo Jauregui is the CTO and co-founder of a tech company, holding a PhD in Electronics and a Project Manager Professional certification. With over 15 years of experience in technology and innovation projects, he has worked with renowned companies such as Roche Diagnostic, Alstom, and UPC. His role in the company is to oversee the technical development and ensure that the team is delivering top-notch solutions to their clients. With his extensive knowledge and experience, he is a valuable asset to the company, helping them stay ahead of the curve in the fast-paced world of technology.


Teo Sardà is the CEO of BeHit. With over 21 years of global entrepreneurial experience, including general management, corporate development or product development; Teo has lived and worked in over 15 countries across Africa, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, and Latin America. Teo served in key leadership roles in several health care companies.


Dr. Tomás Torres is an specialist in Intensive Care Medicine, trained via MIR in the ICU of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital – Can Ruti (1997 – 2002).He has been in charge of the ICU of the Sant Jordi Cardiovascular Center of Barcelona (monographic medical-surgical center for cardiology and vascular diseases) from 2002 to 2009.


Ricky Rubio is a professional basketball player. Playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in my 12th year in the NBA which is my 4th team in the league. (Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns) I played in Spain, ACB with two teams: Joventut Badalona and F.C.Barcelona.
I created my foundation “The Ricky Rubio Foundation” in 2018 in honor of my mom. She passed away from lung cancer in 2016. My foundation fights against cancer and helps underprivileged and disabled youth.


Josep Heredia is passionate about his career and his work. After completing his studies in Business Administration and Management at IQS Business School, he had the opportunity to participate in an exchange programme at Loyola Chicago University, broadening his horizons and improving his knowledge in his field.
Josep Heredia had a successful career in business. He worked as Project Manager and BI Programmer at Seidor, and as Manager of NBA Player Ricky Rubio. In his current role as General Coordinator at The Ricky Rubio Foundation, Josep Heredia combines his experience and skills to help the foundation achieve its goals and make a positive difference in the community.


Clàudia Gustems is graduated in translation and advertising. She now leads the sales and partnerships department at Nixi for Children.


Tomàs Lóbez is a social entrepreneur and designer. He has a background in design (EINA – UAB) and has been a speaker and lecturer at educational institutions such as ESADE, UIC and EINA. In 2019 he founded Nixi for Children, the impact company of which he is CEO. The company has been recognised with different awards from institutions, including the award for the best technological initiative in health from DKV Impacta and the award for Catalan Startup of the Year 2021 granted by ACCIÓ.


Jordi Giralt is currently Head of the Radiation Oncology Group at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) in Barcelona and Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is actively involved in translational research and technology development, with special attention to the EGFR family, in dose escalation programs in head and neck cancer and in pediatric tumors.

Formerly the Chief Digital Officer of Almirall. Previously she led European investments for the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund. I created my foundation “The Ricky Rubio Foundation” in 2018 in honor of my mom. She passed away from lung cancer in 2016. My foundation fights against cancer and helps underprivileged and disabled youth.
